Audi has confirmed it will begin production of a premium compact crossover Q1 model in 2016 to rival the MINI Countryman and Nissan Juke. In confirming the Q1, Audi chief executive officer Rupert Stadler highlighted, "the Q1 is a key component of our [Audi’s] growth strategy."

The Enzo Ferrari based Gemballa MIG-U1
Just before Christmas a set of pictures of a Ferrari Enzo dropped in to our inbox. They turned out to be pictures of a modified Enzo created by Porsche specialist Gemballa and looked very appealing – although probably not to Ferrari aficionados who would no doubt think the Gemballa-ised Enzo to be sacrilege. But we didn’t have much detail on the Gemballa MIG-U1 (for that is the catchy little moniker Uwe Gemballa had attached to his Enzo creation) save what we could see.
The magnificent Audi R8 V10 was officially launched at Detroit this week (although we brought you details on the R8 V10 over a month ago!), and it will cause some real problems for car manufacturers at this level – most noticeably Porsche. Which could be a problem, as Porsche owns Audi! Audi R8 V10 - Cheaper than we thought
The R8 V10 seems something of a bargain at £99,575 OTR (or £104,665 for the R-Tronic), particularly if you compare cars with similar performance, such as the F430, which is nearly £40k more.
